EFRAG Working Paper ‘Climate Standard Prototype’: Too extensive reporting requirements

In our letter to Jean-Paul Gauzès, President of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), we welcome the orientation of the working paper towards existing international frameworks such as the TCFD. On the other hand, we are critical of the overly comprehensive and, in some cases, impractical reporting requirements that emerge in the working paper. Some of the information, such as the detailed information on Scope 3 emissions, cannot be reliably determined in practice.
