BOARD Magazine: The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive - more support instead of liability (in German)

In an article for BOARD - Zeitschrift für Aufsichtsräte in Deutschland, Dr. Christine Bortenlänger, Managing Director of Deutsches Aktieninstitut, and Dr. Uta-Bettina von Altenbockum, Head of Communications and Sustainability, discuss the negotiations in the European Legal Committee on CS3D. They call on the committee to be measured and to address the problems that companies encounter in aiming to comply with due diligence requirements in value chains. Only then, they say, can the directive be effective in preventing value chain due diligence violations.
