BOARD: The Supply Chain Sourcing Obligations Act from the Supervisory Board's Perspective (in German)

In a guest article for BOARD, Dr. Christine Bortenlänger, Managing Director of Deutsches Aktieninstitut, and Dr. Nima Ghassemi-Tabar, a lawyer at Deloitte, discuss what obligations the law imposes on the supervisory boards of companies. The authors provide guidance with a checklist of what information supervisory boards should request from the management board in order to verify the effective implementation of the LkSG. The article refers to the results of a survey jointly conducted by Aktieninstitut and Dr. Ghassemi-Tabar on the implementation of the LkSG, in which 42 companies from DAX40, MDAX and SDAX participated.
