Börsen-Zeitung: ‘Bureaucracy also burdens large companies’

In an interview with Börsen-Zeitung, Henriette Peucker, Chief Executive and Member of the Board of Deutsches Aktieninstitut, discusses the EU Commission's proposals to reduce reporting requirements in the area of sustainability. The omnibus package on sustainability presented in February is a good first step, but it does not go far enough. In order to increase efficiency in companies in the interests of European competitiveness, all companies, not just small and medium-sized enterprises, should be freed from excessive bureaucracy in the form of reporting requirements.
