Leveraging Capital Markets to regain and ensure Europe’s Competitiveness – Our Policy Demands for the European Elections

Strong capital markets are needed to maintain Europe's global competitiveness and to finance the green and digital transformation of the economy. In the light of the European elections in June, we have set out three key demands in our European paper to achieve this goal:

• the reduction of excessive bureaucracy with significantly leaner regulation
• a uniform European company law and
• strengthening the equity culture in Europe
