Two years after the entry into force of the Benchmark Regulation, uncertainties for non-financial companies remain. These uncertainties should be removed when the Regulation is reviewed. Deutsches Aktieninstitut calls, among other things, for a permanent solution regarding the use of third-country benchmarks, which include, for example, currency fixings. These play an important role in derivatives used to hedge against exchange rate risks for the operational business.
