EU-UK negotiations: Setting the right priorities
On the occasion of the third negotiation round between the European Union and Great Britain, Deutsches Aktieninstitut demands balanced provisions on financial and non-financial issues in a possible free trade agreement. In the area of goods and non-financial services, the agreement should include provisions on the coordination of technical standards, business-friendly rules of origin and the simplified posting of workers, among other things. During the negotiations, the interests of financial market participants should be sufficiently taken into account.
