Focus Online: Is generational capital the rescue anchor for the statutory pension?

For investment periods of 20 or 30 years, which are relevant for retirement provision, equities deliver stable and attractive returns. A broadly diversified long-term equity investment in the DAX40, for example, has generated average annual returns of six to nine percent in the past. The planned generation capital is an introduction to capital cover with shares in the statutory pension.
