HV Magazin: Unsatisfactory state of German Annual General Meetings
The Annual General Meetings (AGMs) of listed companies in Germany are formalistic and lengthy, whereas abroad they are usually less formal and shorter. Our Head of Corporate Law Sven Erwin Hemeling and Dr. Sabrina Kulenkamp, partner at the commercial law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, have jointly compared the AGMs in several countries for an article in HV Magazin and presented reform proposals on how the German AGM could be made more attractive.
The article was published on 4.12.2024.
