The DAX Return Triangle for savings plans shows that investing continiously and long-term in a broad equity portfolio has paid out in the past. Savers who invested month by month a constant ammount of money into a portfolio of DAX equities for an investment period of e.g. 20 years benefited from an average yield of roughly nine percent per year.
