New Journal of Company Law (May): Recent developments in Brussels

In his guest article for the Neue Zeitschrift für Gesellschaftsrecht, Jan Bremer, Head of our EU Liaison Office, provides an overview of the current status of important dossiers and initiatives shortly before the end of the legislative period. The EU Listing Act, for example, has passed the plenary of the European Parliament and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive has been approved. In the coming legislative period, the EU Disclosure Regulation and the EU Shareholder Rights Directive are expected to be revised, among other things. The next EU Commission should also further develop the internal market, as proposed by former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta in his report on the future of the EU internal market.
