Securing business decisions. Decision-making in uncertain times

In a time of rapid economic and legal change, company executives face increasingly complex challenges. The dynamics of the global market, coupled with a constantly changing regulatory environment and geopolitical upheavals, require managers to have entrepreneurial skills and a deep understanding of the legal framework.

In the study, ‘Securing business decisions. Decision-making in uncertain times,’ which the German Stock Institute has produced in collaboration with the law firm Gleiss Lutz, we examine how management boards proceed in order to remain capable of acting in this environment while at the same time fulfilling their duty of care. The study shows that companies need legal protection when faced with complex regulations. In the area of sustainability in particular, the survey shows that regulation should be reduced and simplified.
