Strengthening Transparency and Reliability of ESG Ratings

In this response to a consultation of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), we advocate for the greatest possible transparency of ESG rating agencies and their ratings. Deutsches Aktieninstitut reacts to ESMA's proposals for clarifying the ESG Ratings Regulation, which will be applicable from mid-2026, focusing on the regulations aimed at avoiding conflicts of interest and enhancing transparency.
