In an interview with Nils Wischmeyer, Dr. Uta-Bettina von Altenbockum talks about Deutsches Aktieninstitut's work in the area of sustainability and her new position as head of the department. In the interview, she criticizes the high time pressure in the development of the sustainability standards. These are very small-scale, too bureaucratic and very time-consuming for companies to implement, she says. The question is therefore whether the standards will ultimately provide the information needed to advance the transformation of the economy, Altenbockum said.
