We reject the recommendation of stricter criteria as part of the revision of the delegated climate act

In February 2025, we responded to the call for feedback from the EU expert group Platform on Sustainable Finance on the revision of the recommendations for the delegated climate act and the inclusion of further economic activities in the EU taxonomy. The recommendations show that feedback from stakeholders on certain issues of user-friendliness is being taken seriously. However, we are critical of the fact that the recommendations do not reflect the general call for a simplification of the EU taxonomy regulation. We reject stricter criteria, for example for energy-related thresholds so soon after their introduction.
