Web.de: Why the DAX keeps reporting new records

Despite the weak economy, the DAX continues to reach new record highs. While the growth forecast for this year currently stands at 0.1 per cent, the DAX already reached the 18,000 point mark in March. Our Deputy Head of Capital Markets Department, Dr. Norbert Kuhn, explains why this development is so contrary. One reason is that DAX companies generate the majority of their turnover abroad and therefore remain partially unaffected by developments on the German market.
