At its constituent meeting in Munich today, the Board of Deutsches Aktieninstitut unanimously elected Melanie Kreis, Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Post AG, as President. Kreis succeeds Dr. Hans-Ulrich Engel, who had been president since 2017. Engel was not available for re-election following his departure as CFO of BASF SE at the end of April.

The newly elected Presidium consists of 14 members:
