As of February, Jan Bremer, until now Head of EU Liaison Office in Brussels, will take over the newly created position as Head of Legal Department at Deutsches Aktieninstitut in Frankfurt. He will be succeeded in Brussels by Maximilian Lück, who previously had been working as Head of European Regulatory Affairs in the Brussels liaison office of Deutsches Aktieninstitut.

„Becoming Head of our liaison office is a great new challenge“, says Lück. „After the election of the new European Parliament, there will be opportunities for new discussions on capital market issues. I will seize this opportunity to further advance our topics in the political discussions together with our members“, underlines the new Head of EU Liasion Office.

„It has been a great pleasure to represent Deutsches Aktieninstitut in Brussels for the last ten years. I therefore leave Brussels with a smile and a heavy heart at the same time“, states Jan Bremer. „I am looking forward to my new task, which will allow me to take a closer look at the German perspective aside from the European one. As Head of the Legal Department, I will strive- together with my colleagues in Frankfurt- to render the services to our member companies in an even more structured and efficient way“, he emphasizes.

As counterpart to Jan Bremer, Dr. Gerrit Fey will become Head of Capital Markets Department. Like the Legal Department, the Capital Markets Department has been newly established. Dr. Uta-Bettina von Altenbockum as Head of Communications and Petra Kachel as Head of IT and Digitization have also assumed management tasks. All four will report directly to the management of Deutsches Aktieninstitut.

„The new organizational architecture of Deutsches Aktieninstitut is an important step“, stresses Dr. Christine Bortenlänger, Executive Member of the Board. „Our topics have become more diverse in recent years and gained further importance. In addition, we have grown in terms of personnel. The new organizational structure now enables us to continue to react quickly and with focus on new challenges. I am very pleased that we have accomplished this“, said Bortenlänger.

Dr. Cordula Heldt continues to head the secretariat of the Commission to the German Corporate Governance Code, which is based at Deutsches Aktieninstitut.

There have also been personnel changes in the Berlin representative office: Since January 2020, Renz Peter Ringsleben is supporting Birgit Homburger, Head of the Berlin Office, as a Public Affairs Manager. Ringsleben previously worked as spokesperson for the organisation "Die Jungen Unternehmer.
