Dr Norbert Kuhn, Head of the Think Tank Deutsches Aktieninstitut, was a guest on ‘Economic Update’ in the trading hall of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. There, he spoke with Antje Erhard about the capital market in Sweden. There are significantly more IPOs there than in Germany, including from smaller companies. This is due to strong demand from private investors: many Swedes own shares in domestic companies, but institutional investors are also invested in local small businesses.
