Climate-related reporting in the US - consistency with ISSB global baseline essential

With reference to the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) consultation on climate-related disclosures, we deem it crucial and indispensable that the international dimension is taken into account in the reporting requirements of the SEC. It is of paramount importance that the future reporting framework of the SEC is fully consistent and compatible with the global baseline of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

An orientation of the SEC reporting requirements according to the criteria developed by the ISSB should not only apply to foreign issuers but also to US players.
