Radio France: In Germany, ten euros per month per child to teach them about the stock market
In an interview with Radio France, Dr. Franz-Josef Leven, Deputy Managing Director of Deutsches Aktieninstitut, spoke about the proposal of the German Council of Economic Experts. In its annual report, the Council proposed that every child from the age of 6 until the age of 18 should receive 10 euros a month from the state in the form of a fund share. Leven emphasized that this was a very good idea because it would bring children, young people and their parents into contact with the topic of investing in shares. During the discussion, he also emphasized the importance of economic education.
