Enabling virtual AGMs with selective adjustments

We expressly welcome the draft bill of the Federal Ministry of Justice for a law to introduce virtual general meetings of public limited companies. It guarantees shareholders' rights - in a different way than in the presence general meeting, but no less effectively.

The draft bill is structurally well done and has good approaches to enable legally secure implementation. In our view, these should be further developed, not least because of the complexity of the general meeting, which is heavily regulated by law in Germany.
